Brazil falls in a hard group in the world cup

Brasil hasn't the sort of recent global and fall into the hardest groups on the World Cup 2010.In the draw, which took place on Friday in Cape Town, South Africa, the team will face Portugal in the first stage, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Ivory Coast, Didier Drogba, and North Korea.
The draw started well for the team, Dunga, who stepped down as head of Brazil's key Group G, rightly preferred by the technical committee. Thus, the selection would make fewer movements during the World Cup and would play their first two matches in the capital, Johannesburg. The first country drawn to the Brazilian group also liked: North Korea. But then the winds seem to have changed sides. And they led the Ivory Coast and Portugal to the side of the selection.

The Brazil World Cup debut on June 15 in Johannesburg, against North Korea at the Ellis Park stadium, where the selection won the Confederations Cup this year. On June 20, Brazil faces the Ivory Coast, again in Johannesburg, but at the Soccer City stadium. And terminating participation in the first phase on June 25, against Portugal in Durban.

Of the first-round opponents, our selection has faced,in World Cups, only Portugal. And the memory is not good. In 1966, when Brazil was eliminated in the first round after losing by 3-1 to the Portuguese. Interestingly, Portugal's Brazilian-born players on land as midfielder Deco, defender Pepe and striker Liedson.

If stay in first place in Group G, Brazil could face Spain, Italy, Argentina and Germany in the final only if these selections also remain in the lead in the first phase. And in an easier way, Brazil would face Switzerland or Chile in the second round, Holland or Paraguay in the quarterfinals, France and England in the semis.
